Although Kristanna Loken is unmistakably of Norwegian origin, she was raised on an organic fruit farm in upstate New York by a successful writer and a former Wilhemina model.
     At age fifteen, Kristanna came in 3rd in the Elite Look of the Year contest in Ibiza, Spain in 1994. This exposure led to some modeling jobs.
      That same year, Kristanna was cast as Danielle "Dani" Andropolous on the long-running soap opera, As the World Turns. This was followed up by several small, recurring TV roles and a year-long role on Pensacola: Wings of Gold. Some mildly successful films and more TV roles followed.
     This Norwegian beauty finally has the chance to prove herself with the release of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. As the seemingly unstoppable cyborg T-X, Kristanna kicks the stuffing out of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
