Early in the rehearsal process, Ms. Keener was
at a rock-climbing class for the "Survival Quest" cast , when
she spotted a handsome, dark-haired young man who had managed
to scale a steep cliff. Or most of it, at least. "He was stuck,"
said Ms. Keener. "He couldn't get up or down. So he had to
be rescued. And I thought: 'Oh, look at the hot- dog. Serves him
right.' I didn't know he was one of the actors." Someday this
will be a story Ms. Keener can tell her son, Clyde, about how
Mommy met Daddy, aka Dermot Mulroney, her husband of eleven years.
